A Trip to Star Island

In lieu of a trip to Star Island,
I dream of a trip to your Star Body.
If you keep your watch out for me,
I will alight at midnight,
The light of my hands hungrily ablaze
Delighted to lay starry eyes
On a sumptuous mermaids.

While you spread out like a cosmic starfish,
And I am giddily pulled in by your magnetic poles,
Stars rock above your head, I make a wish,
And the ocean sings below.

In the morning, still speckled with divine drops of you,
And bedecked only with a single coral tiara,
I will shoot through the sky,
Born and lit anew.
